ÅRETS TULIPAN

Årets tulipan gir håp og inspirasjon. Årets tulipan symboliserer nysgjerrighet, kunnskapssøken og er en spire til positivt engasjement. Denne personen/organisasjonen er genuint opptatt av å finne svar på de mange ubesvarte spørsmålene når det gjelder vektorbårne sykdommer som borrelia og co-infeksjoner. Vinneren av denne prisen har f.eks. bidratt til ny forskning eller på annen måte engasjert seg for å øke kunnskapen om sykdommer som rammer etter flåttbitt.

ÅRETS STRUTS

Årets struts er svært dyktig til å stikke hodet i sanden. Årets struts symboliserer skylapper, sneversynthet, ansvarsfraskrivelse og ignoranse. Nominér en person/organisasjon du mener har utmerket seg spesielt ved å være svært lite nytenkende eller vitensøkende, og har gjort sitt ytterste for IKKE å bringe frem ny og viktig kunnskap om vektorbårne sykdommer. Vinneren har generelt vist lite positiv handlingsvilje overfor en stadig større pasientgruppe.
